post Vancouver Hotels Connaisseur

I live in Victoria BC, and I travel to Vancouver regularily for concerts since 92, hockey games since 94, (Canucks/Rangers) and any other random events since whenever i can remember.

I think i have stayed in almost every hotel in Vancouver from the scary Robinstrausse hotel to the pretentious, yet accomodating Fairmont hotel on the waterfront or the ultra highend Viva Towers on Howe st. I can honestly say that the variance is HUGE between all the hotels in Vancouver. Since I am not a millionaire, or even a thousand-aire… I do tend to lean towards the high VALUE hotels.

High value hotels like the Best Western, Days Inn, Holiday Inn, Ramada, or Raddison type hotels that deliver decent rooms with decent staff, and decent prices. Aaaaaaaaaand, in doing so… I believe i now have the right to make an informed decision here on some of these internet sites that talk about Vancouver hotels and even the extended stay suites. Of the aforementioned places there is one place that comes to mind that I seem to gravitate to now on a regular basis… which is (drumroll) the Robson Suites hotel on Robson st. I love that place! It is right on Robson street, you can stay for ages, great sized rooms, great staff, and realistic prices that rival a RENTED place! No, its not the four seasons, but it is clean quiet and comfy.

Thats my 2 cents.
